Restoration
Chameleon Fine Lighting offers restoration services on lighting fixtures antique and new. Antique restoration can range from very extensive to simple rewiring and providing UL listing. Extensive could involve repolishing or refinishing tarnished pieces back to the desired look, rewelding arms, adding crystal as needed, cleaning out old arm pathways of original wire in order to allow rewiring. Some of the many projects we have have done for other designers are shown in the images below.
Working on newer lighting fixtures commonly involves converting Euro wiring into American UL standard, Shortening or lengthening chain or rod heights that don't work for the desired OAH, changing backplate or canopy sizes, replacing broken glass when possible....examples are pictured below
